Auto Sisepuhastus removes smoke, mould, damp and pet odours from cars in Tallinn and Harju County. Depending on the source, we combine ozone treatment with enzyme cleaning or air-conditioning system disinfection.
Ozone treats residual odour, but the underlying source must be dealt with first. We check for moisture, a dirty cabin air filter, urine in the upholstery or smoke residue, then remove the source before treating the remaining smell.

Every odour removal job begins by finding the source. Ozone treatment takes place in our enclosed Mustamäe booth. By the end of 2025, we had completed 2,237 odour removal jobs: 1,389 ozone treatments, 323 pet odour jobs, 271 mould odour jobs, 209 smoke odour jobs and 45 air-conditioning disinfections.
In the enclosed booth, an ozone generator treats interior air and reaches ventilation ducts that a deodorising spray cannot.

We first find the moisture source behind a mouldy smell, such as a blocked air-conditioning drain or a leaking sunroof seal.
We check the drain and seals before ozone treatment. If the moisture source remains, the musty odour can return within three weeks.
An enzyme cleaner breaks down crystallised nitrogen compounds in pet urine. Surface spray alone can leave crystals behind that release odour again in humid weather.
We leave the enzyme product in the upholstery for 30 minutes before extraction, allowing it to reach residue below the surface.
Tobacco smoke particles penetrate seat fabric and reach the foam beneath, so cleaning only the surface will not remove the odour.
For smoke complaints, we also check all seven air-conditioning vents. Circulating air can carry odour behind the dashboard, beyond the reach of seat cleaning.
The price depends on the source. Ozone treatment may be enough for a residual odour; contamination in upholstery or the air-conditioning system also needs enzyme cleaning or disinfection.

An ozone treatment visit takes three hours, including inspection, enclosed-booth treatment and ventilation. By the end of 2025, the booth had completed 2,416 ozone cycles. See the car ozone treatment page for the process and safety requirements.
On a car with a musty smell, it takes 40 minutes to identify the moisture source and disinfect the air conditioning vent before ozone treatment, because the result will be temporary if the source is not eliminated.
The removal of pet odour as a whole lasts 2 hours, which includes the 30-minute action time of the enzyme cleaner and the subsequent washing out. A second enzyme cycle is added to the strong repetitive smell.
Complete smoke odour removal, including removal of seat covers for extraction and disinfection of air conditioning, takes 5 hours. We will respond to the request within one hour on business days, and a car needing odour removal can be booked into the Mustamäe workshop within three business days. 1. Find the source: Moisture beneath the passenger carpet measured 38%. Water was entering from a condensate drain clogged with dirt.
2. Treat the source: Finding and clearing the drain took 40 minutes. We lifted the carpet and dried the underlay to 15% moisture in the warm workshop before ozone treatment.

Superficial, airborne odours, such as the smell of food or a new car, are completely eliminated by ozone treatment, because this odour has no source in the fabric or foam padding, which must be broken down separately.
Odour of biological origin, pet urine or milk and food residues, needs enzyme cleaning, because these molecules are physically trapped in the fabric and residues that have not been chemically broken down are released again in humid weather.
A recurring musty or damp smell means there is an active source of moisture somewhere, such as a clogged drain or leaking gasket. In a car like this, no deodorizer will help until the source is fixed.
